directly inspired from Irini Miga's work When You Think I'm Not There Please Knock Harder, a work I saw in the Cycladic Art Museum this summer as part of the Deste prize show. The sculpture looked beautifully opulent but struck me with the directness of its message. Here's an interpretation and re-contextualization.
